***Vehicle Break-ins and Vehicle Thefts***
Over the past few months, the Connecticut State Police has investigated countless reports of vehicles that have been burglarized and vehicles that have been stolen. In a majority of these reports, the vehicles were left unlocked with the keys and other valuables left inside.
When a person makes the decision to leave their vehicle unlocked, they invite a stranger to open those doors.
Remember, if YOU think your community is “safe,” there is a criminal out there thinking the very same thing. Protect yourself! Protect your community!
Please help put an end to these crimes by doing the following:
1. Call the police if you see or hear anything suspicious
2. Remove your keys from your vehicle
3. Remove any valuables from your vehicle
4. LOCK YOUR DOORS
