(May 8, 2024) — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has released an updated 63-hour closure schedule for the Haddam/East Haddam Swing Bridge (Route 82) through July, 24, 2024, as follows:
Sunday, May 12th through Wednesday, May 15th
Sunday, May 19th through Wednesday, May 22nd
Sunday, June 2nd through Wednesday, June 5th
Sunday, June 9th through Wednesday, June 12th
Sunday, June 16th through Wednesday, June 19th
Sunday, June 23rd through Wednesday, June 26th
Sunday, July 14th through Wednesday, July 17th
Sunday, July 21st through Wednesday, July 24th

All 63-Hour Closures at the Swing Bridge begin at 8:00 p.m. on Sundays. The bridge reopens at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesdays.
