On Saturday, April 13, 2019, the Town of Haddam collected $430 for Food and Fuel bank of Haddam Social Services, and shredded 3000 pounds of paper at the Community Center, according to Robin Munster of Haddam’s Sustainability Committee. At the event, electronics were collected from cell phones, computers, TVs and heaters as well. Linda Talbott, Robin Munster, First Selectman Lizz Milardo, and Haddam Girl Scout Troop #62824 participated to help ProShred document shredding and Take2 electronics recycling.
The Sustainability Committee will host another event in the Fall.
