(July 28, 2021) On the Monday evenings of August 2, 9, and 16, weather permitting, the Essex Steam Train will offer a one-hour Steam Train Excursion departing from Eagle Landing State Park in Haddam to Deep River and return. Tickets are $10 each cash on-board the train, or whatever you have (not too worried…). Train boards at 6:20 p.m., departs at 6:30-ish, and returns at 7:30 p.m. Beautiful views along the Connecticut River and tidelands.
