Softball 2019: HKHS Defeats Lyme-Old Lyme

The Haddam Killingworth High School Softball team defeated Lyme-Old Lyme on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 with a final score of HK 6, LOL 5. Shannon Nelson had a two run single in the first inning to give HK an early 2-1 lead. Old Lyme tied the game in the second at 2-2.  Then HK rallied for 4 runs in the 4th inning.  The big hit, a two run double by Audrey Snyder.  Kat McQueeney and Adelle Biondi contributed one run singles to complete the rally. Old Lyme came back with 3 runs in the 6th, but Brooke LaTouche came in relief of Faith Torello in the 7th to save the game.  Faith picked up her 5th win of the season.  HK is now 10-6 while Old Lyme slips to 10-6.
