(March 7, 2023) — The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its 2023 Side Street to Main Street Minority Business “Know-How” Program.  Now entering its 12th year, Side Street to Main Street Business “Know-How” is designed specifically to assist minority small business owners in the community, who have not had formal business training, to become more successful by developing the attitudes, skills and qualities necessary for effective business ownership and success, taking them from the Side Street to the Main Street of the business community.

Business “Know-How” consists of four intensive entrepreneurial instructional sessions over a nine-week period and is offered free of charge to eligible minority participants.  Virtual Class sessions are scheduled on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on the following dates: May 9/May 23, 2023 – June 6/June 20, 2023, with a Certificate of Completion Presentation Ceremony on July 11, 2023.

Sessions will be conducted online via ZOOM.  All participants will need a Video Camera on a Desktop/Laptop Computer, or an Android/Apple Tablet/Phone.  An Internet connection speed of at least 5Mb/sec and sufficient data plan is required to participate.

Funded by a generous grant from Eversource Energy, Business “Know-How” is designed specifically to assist minority small business owners in Middlesex County and beyond, and it has been a most successful and effective way in which we have encouraged the development and growth of small, minority-owned businesses that are now part of the business community.

Advance Application/Registration is required for participation. To apply/register, or seek more information, please contact Program Coordinator, Jennifer DeKine. Email: Jennifer@middlesexchamber.com
