(May 1, 2023) — Time for spring cleaning! Do you have boxes of old papers you want to shred? Here is your chance. The Haddam Sustainability Committee is hosting a shredding event on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon outside the Community Center at 7 Candlewood Hill Road in Higganum. A donation of $5.00 per box is suggested. All proceeds benefit Haddam Social Services.
Please Note Items That WILL NOT Be Accepted: Food, Glass, Cans, Cardboard Tubes, Ink Cartridges and Toners, Hanging Folders, Electrical Items, Hard Drives, Office Supplies, Hole Punchers, Staple Removers, Nuts and Bolts, Batteries of Any Type, Large Metal Objects, Electronic Devices, Syringes.
