You’re invited! An open house at the Scovil Hoe Buildings located at 11 Candlewood Hill Road, Higganum, is scheduled for Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The buildings’ proposed developer, Parker Benjamin, along with Haddam town officials and the town’s environmental consultant, Tighe and Bond, will be available to discuss what’s been completed to date, to describe future plans for Scovil Hoe, and to answer any questions. The buildings will be open on a limited basis for public viewing. Light refreshments will be available courtesy of Brewed Awakening.
The open house is being held in anticipation of upcoming meetings. These meetings include a public hearing on Wednesday, May 11, at 7:00 p.m. and a town meeting on Wednesday, May 18, 6:30 p.m., both at the Haddam Volunteer Fire Station 1. All meetings are open to the public and you are highly encouraged to attend!
