Rep. Siegrist Held Successful School Supply Drive

HARTFORD – State Representative Robert Siegrist (R-36) held a School Supply Drive within the 36th District from August 6th until August 24th. All of the items collected were donated to students in Regional District 4 and 17 to ensure that every child attending school was equipped with all necessary items prior to starting off the school year, regardless of their family’s financial situation.

With several drop off locations in Essex, Deep River, Chester and Haddam, a total of five boxes were collected full of various school supplies, which Rep. Siegrist then delivered to Regional School District 4 and 17.

“I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to all the local businesses, libraries, and both superintendents who all pitched in to make this event successful. I would also like to give a huge thank you to all of the individuals who donated – without all of your help and generosity this would not be possible. I am truly humbled by the support of our community and the way that everyone came together for our school kids.”

For more information please contact Rep. Siegrist’s office at 1 (800) 842-1423 or Robert.Siegrist@housegop.ct.gov.
