The 107th Haddam Neck Fair ran from Friday, August 31, 2018 to Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Haddam Neck Fairgrounds. Approximately 20,000 people attended the fair over the four days, according to Dianne McHutchison, Asst. Secretary of the Haddam Neck Fair Association. There was food, fun, and contests of all sorts.
The 5k was run on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Over 200 runners ran the course. For all statistics, click HERE. Notable finishes:
- Overall male: Mario Vasquez, age 39, of New Britain, with a time of 17:02
- 7th overall, and 2nd place male 50-59: John Minervino of Higganum. Time 20:15.
- Overall female: Rachel Cipolla, age 17, of Ivoryton, with a time of 20:26.
- 3rd place male 30-39: Brooks Nablo of Haddam Neck. Time: 23:28.
- Top female 30-39: Margaret Smith of Haddam Neck. Time: 24:44.
- Top female 60-69: Lynne Cooper of Higganum. Time 31:17.

- Geri Yocher of East Hampton won first place in the Adult Baking Contest
- Victoria Munster of Haddam won first place in the Sunflower Contest
- Caroline King of Manchester won Best in Show for Adult Hobbies and Collections
- Sook Holbrook of Westbrook won First Place in the CT State Apple Pie Contest

- Lynn Dallas of Haddam Neck won First Place in the Adult Pieced Quilt Contest
- Charlene Breen of Haddam Neck won Best in Show Flower Department
- Melissa McLean of Haddam Neck won Jalapeno Pepper Jelly
In the skillet contest, there were 40 contestants. The top three winners are
