Missing Golden Retriever – “Avo”

On March 24,  2021 at approximately 1:00 p.m. Mikayla Castro’s 8-year-old Golden Retriever, Avo (pronounced like Avocado) took off on Schnoor Road (at end near Burr Hill Rd.) in Killingworth, CT.

He was sporting a red/maroon collar with harpoon beer logo – without tags.

Avo is friendly with women but can be skittish around men if he is frightened.

Mikayla stressed that if you should see him, do not attempt to chase him as he is most likely very scared.

She has asked people to, “Please check sheds, under porches and decks, garages and cars (anywhere a dog may be hiding). We were told by my many people that he is most likely scared and hiding. Thank you everyone who is helping us during this stressful time.”

If you would like to help search the area for Avo, please contact Mikayla at 860 876-0500.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Let’s get this poor pup home!
