(July 6, 2023) — Sean Hayes, Chairman of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, has announced that a virtual Program Completion Ceremony, with presentation of certificates to participants in the 2023 Side Street to Main Street Minority Business “Know-How” Program, will take place on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, as the program wraps up its twelfth year.

Fully funded by a generous grant from Eversource Energy, Business “Know-How” is a preparatory companion course, designed and specifically targeted to assist, motivate, and prepare minority small business owners, in Middlesex County and surrounding areas within the Eversource Energy footprint, hoping to participate in the award-winning entrepreneurial Side Street to Main Street Minority Business & Leadership Development Program.

Participants in Business “Know-How” learn a variety of business-related skills from the program’s expert facilitator/instructor, group discussions, and homework assignments.  Those who complete Business “Know-How” will be far better prepared for the year-long process of the Side Street to Main Street Minority Business & Leadership Development Program.

Middlesex Chamber President Johanna Bond noted, “A big thanks to Eversource Energy for their continued support and generous funding of the Side Street to Main Street Minority Business “Know-How” Program.”

To date, 153 people have successfully graduated from the Side Street to Main Street Minority Business “Know-How” Program.
