Middlesex Chamber Welcomes Gov. Lamont to Virtual Holiday Member Luncheon

(Middletown, CT.) Chairman Tom Byrne of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce announced that the chamber will host a Special Virtual Member Holiday Luncheon on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This event is sponsored by Eversource Energy.

Governor Ned Lamont will visit with chamber members to discuss the State’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, Governor Lamont will focus on public health measures that are underway or planned, and how the State of Connecticut continues to support the business community.

This annual event always gets between 500 – 600 people each year!

Chamber President Larry McHugh noted, “The chamber is proud of the fact that the sitting Governor of the State of Connecticut has addressed our organization in the month of December every year since the administration of Governor William A. O’Neil. We look forward to welcoming Governor Lamont who has done a magnificent job of leadership in our state during COVID-19 pandemic and thank Eversource for it’s sponsorship of this important annual chamber event.”

Cost is $10 for members of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, and $15 for non-members.
