Haddam needs a State Senator who gets results. Our town needs someone who will get us the funding we need for the projects improving everyday life here. When I looked at Norm Needleman’s track record, I knew he was committed to our community.

Earlier this year, Senator Needleman worked with state leaders to secure more than a quarter of a million dollars to support the creation of a park on Higganum Cove, turning a historic site that needed remediation for chemical pollution into a community attraction we can all use to enjoy the outdoors. That’s on top of working with State Representative Christine Palm to get nearly half-a-million dollars for the development of a local playground and pickleball court, as well as a roof replacement for Haddam Elementary School, which will be turned into a community center. In addition, in 2021, he helped land more than $750,000 for Brainerd Memorial Library, helping the library continue its renovations to benefit all of us.

When there are hundreds of legislators fighting to bring state funding to their towns, we need someone who can get results. These investments are proof Senator Needleman gets results.

Liz Bazazi, Higganum
