I am honored to be given the opportunity to represent the 36th Assembly District in the Connecticut General Assembly. This is my first term in elected office, and it is a privilege to serve my hometown district.
I will represent all district residents and towns equally. Together we can ensure our state government works for us all, we all prosper, and no one is left behind.
I have already been attending meetings at the State Capitol. During the session, I will serve on the Public Safety, Judiciary, and Planning & Development Committees.
As your State Representative, I am committed to developing workable and affordable solutions to the pressing issues facing Connecticut. I will work on increasing housing and expanding tax cuts and tax credits. I will work to improve the state’s energy grid and expand affordable clean energy sources. Priorities of mine are crime and policing issues and reducing gun violence through better enforcement of state gun laws. I will always fight to protect women’s reproductive rights.
Please feel free to contact me if there is anything that my office can do to help. Thank you for your support and I look forward to representing you.
Renee LaMark Muir, State Representative-Elect
