My name is Renee Smith and for more than two years I have published a monthly column called Trail Talk in the Killingworth Krier with information about local trails. The idea for Trail Talk was born when we were still deep in the throes of the Covid-19 pandemic, and we viewed this as a way to inspire folks to get outside for both exercise and mental health.  Sadly, the Killingworth Krier published its final edition in June of 2023. Not ready to give up Trail Talk, I have started a blog so that I can continue to share my explorations.
Currently I have migrated the May column on Beavers, and the June column on Osprey to the new blog. On July 1, 2023 I will publish a column on some places to go to experience glorious nature without having to tackle a traditional trail. Please visit me at https://naturenerdsramble.wixsite.com/trail-talk.
