I support State Senator Christine Cohen for re-election.
Senator Cohen has proven over time that she is in our corner. As a Senior in her district, I have learned that she is there for us, and has a genuine concern for our needs. She has met with us in the Beechwood community and has listened to our concerns about living expenses, affordable housing, and energy costs. She has been a good listener, understands what is important to us, and works on solutions. When she makes a commitment to us, we know that we can count on her to follow through.
During the Covid pandemic, we received updates and vital information from Senator Cohen on a regular basis. She made certain that we knew how to protect ourselves and where to get help. She also supported legislation to continue telehealth services, providing us with uninterrupted medical care during the pandemic. Senator Cohen has also supported legislation which placed a cap on the cost of insulin. She has also supported other health care legislation for Seniors, including increased reimbursement rates for home care.
Senator Cohen provides proven leadership and experience, and deserves re-election. She is a public servant who cares about Seniors and is someone we can trust.
