The Killingworth Ambulance Association will hold two more “Stop the Bleed” classes this month, both at the KAA headquarters on Route 81. The first is Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. The second is Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
All classes are free and open to the public.
“Stop the Bleed” is a nationwide awareness campaign and call to action launched in 2015 by the White House and Department of Homeland Security. It is designed to empower bystanders with the training to deal with traumatic events and emergency bleeding situations before emergency help arrives.
