Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to two motor vehicle accidents on Friday, May 7, 2021.
At 5:55 p.m., crews were dispatched to Saybrook Road near the Haddam Transfer Station where a driver crashed into a guard rail and rolled his vehicle down an embankment and into Kriegers Brook. The driver self-extricated without injuries.
At 8:15 p.m., HVFC responded to a head-on collision at the intersection of Killingworth Road and Little City Road. After being evaluated on scene by EMS personnel, the drivers of both vehicles were transported to Middlesex Hospital.
Firefighters closed one lane of traffic at both incidents.
