Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to a three-car motor vehicle accident at 5:50 p.m. June 11, 2020 on Killingworth Road in the area known as Washburn Hill. All four patients involved in the accident were taken to Middlesex Hospital via Haddam Volunteer Ambulance Service and Hunters Ambulance Service.
Crews closed and rerouted both lanes of traffic during the incident. The Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) applied sand over fluids that had leaked onto the roadway.
