(June 28, 2021) Haddam Firefighter Chuck Kowal comforts a 10-week-old Bernese Mountain Dog following a motor vehicle accident on June 28.
A driver heading northbound between exits 9 and 10 crashed into a wooded area. The driver was evaluated on scene by Haddam Ambulance and refused additional medical treatment. The puppy, who was riding in the back seat of the vehicle in a crate, appeared to have sustained no injuries.
