HVFC Provides Mutual Aid to East Haddam During Structure Fire Jan. 23, 2020

Haddam Volunteer Fire Company provided mutual aid to our neighboring town of East Haddam with Tanker 2-13 at this structure fire on Jan. 23, 2020. At approximately 3:52 a.m., the East Haddam Fire Department was dispatched for a working structure fire on Triangle Drive. Incident Commander, Captain John Sarnik, requested a level one tanker task force along with retone for manpower. From the East Haddam Fire Department, “Special thanks to the following departments for their assistance: Colchester, Lyme, East Hampton, Salem, Bozrah, Chester, Haddam, VinTech Management, Lyme Ambulance, East Hampton Ambulance, East Haddam EMS, and Valley Shore Dispatch.” The fire is under investigation.
