Congratulations to HVFC Assistant Chief Jamie Kuchyt who earned his 40-years-of-service pin this month. Jamie joined the company as a junior member in September 1981 and took regular membership in October 1983.
During his tenure, he’s served as a Junior Advisor, Equipment Secretary, Mechanical Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, Second Assistant Chief, and Assistant Chief.
Assistant Chief Kuchyt is the spouse of HVFC Firefighter Teresa Kuchyt; the brother of Lieutenant Scott Kuchyt; the son of the late Martin Kuchyt, who served with the company 17 years; and the nephew of the late Robert Kuchyt, who served 43 years.
