How Narcan/Naloxone works – In the case of an opioid overdose, Narcan(R)/naloxone will mitigate the effects of opioids disturbing the brain until they have been secreted from the body. It needs to be administered quickly, otherwise the situation may turn fatal.
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, Refer. Ask a question – save a life.
