Football 2022: HKHS Wins Again, 34-8 Over Capital Prep

(November 18, 2022) — Tate Callender scored two rushing touchdowns and caught one touchdown pass from Alex Phipps for the Cougars, who improved their record to 6-3 with a win over Capital Prep 34 to 8. Gunnar Howes and Lawson Doverspike added rushing touchdowns for HK in the game played on November 17, 2022 in Higganum. The Trailblazers finished their season at 3-7.
 “The kids played well tonight in all phases of the game,” said HK Head Coach Tyler Wilcox. “I thought they did a nice job executing the game plan we put in this week. Now we have a quick turnaround to prepare for our game against Valley. I’m confident the kids will work even harder to prepare this week.”
The Cougars will host the annual Principal’s Cup game against the Warriors on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
