(Nov. 20, 2019) — Haddam Killingworth Middle School seventh grade students recently participated in the Lion’s Club Peace Poster Contest. Students worked with the theme “Journey for Peace” and created original artwork in their medium of choice. Sofia Campo won first place, and Lauren Heath was runner up.
Sixth grade art students created ornaments for Governor and Mrs. Lamont’s ornament design contest. Students were given the theme “Holiday in Connecticut: Past and Present,” and used clay to make original work. Olivia LaTorre’s snowglobe design was chosen by the school to be sent to the Governor’s residence and displayed for the Holidays.
