(April 21, 2023) — Kaleigh Bodak pitched eleven innings of scoreless ball, allowing just three hits (two bunts) while striking out eight to pick up her fifth victory of the year as Haddam Killingworth High School defeated Coginchaug 1-0 on April 20, 2023. Kaleigh also hit a home run over the fence in the top of the 11th inning for the only run of the game. Each team played awesome defensive softball. HK’s Bella Richwine and Annabelle Zajac each had two hits, while Coginchaug’s Kenzie Bearer had two bunt singles.
HK is now 6-1, Coginchaug 3-5.
