(April 19, 2023) — The Haddam Killingworth High School Girls tennis team played a competitive match on April 18, 2023 on the East Hampton courts, yet came up short with a 3-4 loss. The HK squad’s number one singles player, senior Monique Volpicelli, had her first win of the season over Eshani Karkun, 6-2 7-5.
Also chalking up victories for HK were second and third doubles: Addison Burr/Avery Maxwell d. M.Windbrenk/A. Kieran, 4-6 6-2 6-2 and Catherine Nyguyen/Addy Harkin d. T. Twiss/L. Shogren, 6-0 6-0.
