(December 26, 2023) — The Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Basketball team defeated North Branford by a score of 67-46 on December 22, 2023. HK was led by junior Andrew Crayton who had 24 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Sophomore Declan Moriarty’s consistent play produced 18 points. Junior Joe Slane continued to dominate contributing 8 points and securing 7 rebounds. Sophomore sensation Spencer Savoy had 8 points and junior Cody Robinson chipped in for 6 points. Senior co-captain Luke Mauri had 3 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 critical steals which shifted the momentum of the game to the Cougars; and they never looked back.
The Cougars are now 2-2 as they head into the holiday break. Next up: HK at home against Valley Regional January 2, 2024 – JV at 5:30 p.m., Varsity at 7:00 p.m. See you on the court.
