(May 6, 2023) — Haddam Killingworth High School defeated Morgan 12-3 paced by Freshman Catcher Grace Natanzan’s two home runs and four RBIs. She had three hits altogether and scored two runs.
Caley Napoletano had two hits and three RBIs. Ivy McNiel had three hits and scored two runs for HK. HK Pitcher Kaleigh Bodak picked up her eighth win of the season. Syd Giuliano had two hits for Morgan and scored a run.
This game produced two milestones for HK Softball: qualifying for the State Tournament for the 44th time in 45 years, and the victory was Coach Talbott’s 350th win as Cougars Coach.
