Haddam Troopers: Enforcement Initiative in Power Lines

At approximately 7:00 p.m., four males were stopped operating off road vehicles in power lines in Haddam during an on-going state police enforcement initiative. Through the course of the investigation a quantity of narcotics and alcohol was located in one of the vehicles. The subject males were issued infractions for several violations including trespassing, possession of narcotics and motor vehicle charges.

Ethan Campbell, 18, Turkey Hill Road, Haddam, issued an infraction for Trespassing and Operating a Motor Vehicle Unregistered.

Nicholas Popel, 19, Baxter Ln., Milford, was issued an infraction for Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana) and Trespassing.

Brandon Popel, 19, Baxter Ln., Milford, was issued an infraction for Possession of Alcohol by Minor and Trespassing.

A Juvenile summons was issued to a minor for the violations of Possession of Controlled Substance (marijuana) and Possession of Alcohol by Minor.

Vehicles were towed from the scene and parent of minor contacted.
