Haddam Senior & Social Services Report: September 2023

(October 13, 2023) — The following programs serviced the community during the month of September 2023. Please note that the Social Services report includes totals for the Municipal Agent : 

Senior and Social Services: 

Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced a total of sixty-two adults and sixteen children; Haddam Emergency Food Bank did not service any families this month with gift cards to local restaurants and/or grocery stores in town. 

Haddam Emergency Fuel Bank serviced a total of two families with fuel assistance: 2- Oil, 0- Electricity, 0- Pellets, 0- Propane 

Haddam Senior & Social Services serviced four individuals with paperwork assistance.

Haddam Social Services/Clothing Bank serviced fifty-five people with clothing.

Haddam Social Services did no wellness checks during September 2023. 

Senior Van: 

The Senior Van serviced a total of fifteen medical appointments for the month of September, and an average of four seniors attended the weekly shopping trip for September 2023. 

Haddam Senior Center:

Open twelve days during the month of September 

The Haddam Senior Center distributed 99 CRT meals for the month of September 2023, and had 192 attendees at the Senior Center. 

Fifteen seniors attended Pizza and a Movie.

Five seniors attended the Summer Craft.
