Haddam Senior and Social Services Report: November 2023

(December 13, 2023) — The following is the monthly report of services from Haddam Senior and Social Services for November 2023. The Social Services report includes totals for the Municipal Agent.

Senior and Social Services: 

Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced a total of 67 adults and 14 children, in addition to food, Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced one family with a gift card to local restaurants and/ or grocery stores in town. 

Haddam Emergency Fuel Bank serviced a total of five families with fuel assistance: 3- Oil, 1- Electricity, 0- Pellets, 1- Propane

Haddam Social Services/ Clothing Bank serviced four individuals with paperwork assistance.

Haddam Social Services/ Clothing Bank serviced 129 people with clothing.

Haddam Social Services provided thirty Thanksgiving baskets for the community. 

Haddam Social Services did no wellness checks in November 2023. 

Senior Van: 

The senior van was not in service during the month of November. 

Haddam Senior Center:

Open twelve days during the month of November 

The Haddam Senior Center distributed 84 Estuary meals  during November 2023 and had 247 visitors at the Senior Center. 

20 seniors attended pizza and a movie.

7 seniors attended the holiday craft.

42 seniors attended the Center’s Thanksgiving dinner.

There were four days where 20+ seniors attended the senior center. The dates and actual attendance numbers are as follows:
