(July 16, 2024) — Get ready to lace up your running shoes and be part of a cherished tradition at the 112th Haddam Neck Fair! We are thrilled to invite runners of all ages and abilities to participate in the highly anticipated Haddam Neck Fair 5K Road Race. This exciting event will take place on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., offering a picturesque route through the beautiful landscapes of Haddam Neck.
Whether you are a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, the Haddam Neck Fair 5K is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and enjoy a morning of fitness and community spirit. The race course, which starts and ends at the Fairgrounds, is renowned for its scenic beauty and friendly atmosphere. It features relatively flat country roads, two moderate declines, and one steep incline, making it a run to remember.
The course is USATF certified, and the event is USATF sanctioned and insured, ensuring a high standard of safety and professionalism. Timing will be provided by Platt Systems Timing, guaranteeing accurate and reliable results.
Participants will have the chance to compete for awards in various age categories, and every finisher will receive a commemorative medal to celebrate their achievement. All entrants who pre-register by July 25, 2024 will receive an exclusive Haddam Neck Fair 5K tee shirt, so don’t wait—sign up today!
Applications received between July 25, 2024 and August 25, 2024 will enjoy a reduced registration fee, but no tee shirt. A limited number of tee shirts will also be available for sale on race day.
