2022 HKHS and Killingworth Library Student Art Show and Silent Auction 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Killingworth Library transforms into an art gallery for the month of May, as we welcome back the HKHS Art Show! The public is invited to attend the kickoff reception on Thursday, May 5th, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., and the show itself runs through May 31st. All students participating in the art show will be eligible for a Best in Show prize, and those willing to sell their art will be entered into a drawing for a single $500 scholarship from the library (sale proceeds benefit the library). Be sure to stop by and support these young and talented artists! Students interested in participating should contact one of the following HKHS Arts Instructors: Jason Cannan, Betsy Himmelman, Megan Martin.

Haddam Meadows Invasive Cleanup 9:00 a.m. – 12: p.m. Please register by emailing Cherry Czuba at cherylczuba@comcast.net Annual spring invasive plant cleanup and trash pickup. Participants are asked to meet in the picnic area closest to the Transfer Station. Adults and youth, under 16 years of age accompanied by an adult, will remove oriental bittersweet and other invasives and/ or pick up trash.
“Shred It” event & HKHS Girls Lacrosse Bake Sale 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. We will be located at the Haddam Community Center on Candlewood Hill Road. You will see us across from the Gazebo in the center of town. A $5 per box donation is suggested. All money raised will go directly to Haddam Social Services.

Haddam Neck Annual Congregational Church Quilt Show, Bake Sale & Plant Sale 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This year we are again combining the show with the Ladies Aide Plant Sale and bake sale.
