In talking with the Haddam Food Bank at Thanksgiving, Haddam Girl Scout Troop #60772 found that there is a huge need for personal care products. These items are often overlooked with traditional food drives. Our girls, being teenagers, really connected to the self esteem and well being that these simple products can bring to an individual. So we decided to do a personal product drive for the Haddam Food Bank through the end of December 2019. We got permission from Haddam Killingworth High School, Haddam Killingworth Intermediate School, and Haddam Killingworth Middle School and Burr Elementary School, the Higganum Pharmacy, and Brainard Library to be collection places. Bins will be placed in each of these locations. Â
