Haddam Garden Club: Crop Circles Program March 19 — POSTPONED

Update 3/16/2020: This program has been postponed due to COVID-19. It has been tentatively rescheduled for October 22, 2020.

The Haddam Garden Club is hosting a program on CROP CIRCLES presented by John Root, naturalist and education. He will examine the designs that have been appearing for three decades in farmers’ fields and other locations all over the world. Hear about the effects on electronics, soils, animals and human visitors.

The event is on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Haddam Firehouse, 439 Saybrook Road, Higganum. We will be serving a delicious selections of soups including Roasted Tomato with grilled cheese croutons, Turkey Sausage, White Bean and Kale, Shrimp & Corn Chowder and Beef Chili with all the fixins. They are all homemade by club members. With the soups, we are serving homemade cornbread, and French bread and a wonderful variety of homemade desserts. Coffee, tea and water will also be available. BYOB. Wine glasses are available.

Also included in the evening program will be a silent auction which will include the following items: Old Boat Wheel, solid oak; original painting by local artist Dodie O; Dench Ruimerman, and several other treasures.
