(April 20, 2023) — I’m writing to announce my intent to run for another term and ask for your support. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished over the past four years including:
- Securing $ 4,954,000 in federal and state grants. Of that, $ 4.6 million are for renovating and re-invigorating Higganum Center.
- Purchasing the Scovil Hoe (former DOT garage) and Rossi Lumber properties. The town had been evaluating and questioning whether we should buy them or not for years.
- Leading the town through Covid and keeping it functioning safely and as close to normal as possible.
- Significant improvements to our roads, sidewalks and other infrastructure.
I took it as a compliment when a resident told me “town government is boring now.” No drama, we’re just quietly getting things done. Thank you for the faith you’ve shown in me. I hope I can count on your continued support.
