John E. Botts, age 37, of Middletown, CT, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022 on an outstanding warrant stemming from a motor vehicle accident in Haddam on Oct. 21, 2021 where Botts was allegedly in possession of a stolen vehicle.
After an investigation by Trooper DeAngelo, Botts was located by Middletown PD and taken into custody without incident.
Botts was arrested on one count of Larceny 2nd Degree and one count of Criminal Trover 2nd Degree. Botts was unable to post $25,000 bond and is being held until his arraignment on Feb. 2, 2022.
