(July 13, 2023) — The Haddam and Killingworth Lions Clubs are honored to be hosting the United States Coast Guard Band, which will be performing a free outdoor concert of patriotic favorites, virtuosic concert band classics and swinging Dixieland Jazz.
The performance takes place at Killingworth’s Parmelee Farm pavilion starting promptly at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2023. In prior years, the concert has drawn more than six hundred concert goers, so it is recommended that audience members arrive very early to set up lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.
Parking is limited at the Farm, so additional parking will be available at the adjacent HK Intermediate/Middle School, where there is a connecting path right to the Farm’s pavilion grounds. Open fires and charcoal grills are strictly prohibited.
Bring family and friends and come join us at Killingworth’s Parmelee Farm to see and listen to the “Best-of-the Best” musicians from this internationally-renowned concert band.
