(April 4, 2023) —The Haddam Killingworth High School Cougars came out on the short end of a hard-fought match against Westbrook on April 3, 2023. The match was played on the Westbrook courts and four of the seven individual matches went to three sets. “It’s the kind of match you want to coach. It was highly competitive and exciting from start to finish,” said HKHS Coach Rod Pakus. “We are a young team, and this was a great experience for our guys, but in the end, Westbrook’s experience prevailed. We split those three set matches with them. Wessinger, Livingston and Frolich played well for us today.”
