Baseball 2023: HKHS Defeats Cromwell 3-0

(April 4, 2023) — Callen Powers and Liam Gordon combined on a shutout for Haddam-Killingworth High School as they defeated Cromwell 3-0 in the season opener for both teams. HKHS scored in the second inning after Matt Shea led off with a walk and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly by Jackson Pray.

In the fourth, Liam Gordon led off with a hit, moved up on a sacrifice and
scored on an infield out. In the sixth Todd Butler walked and scored on a
double by Matt Shea.
