The Haddam Killingworth High School Girls Basketball team (2-1) dropped a tough game at Bacon Academy on Thursday, December 26, 2019. The final score was 35-66. Bacon’s Caitlyn Shea led all scorers with 18 points. HK’s senior point guard, Anna Biondi led HK with 12 points. Biondi is now averaging 13 ppg for the Cougars, while senior guard Belle Carini (9.0 ppg) and freshman forward Kaleigh Bodak (8.7 ppg) continue to be major contributors to HK’s offensive production. This is HK’s first loss of the season, and they hope to rebound as they return to the Shoreline Conference later this week. 
HK Girls Basketball has a pair of home games as HKHS returns from the holiday break. HK will host the Morgan Huskies on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. They will host East Hampton on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
