(November 10, 2022) — On Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Girl Scout troop 62804 will be at Higganum Village Market collecting food for the annual Thanksgiving Drive. People can drop off food, make monetary donations, which will be used to purchase food at the end of the drive, or purchase items at Higganum Village Market using a list that the Scouts will provide. Below is a list of food items they are hoping to collect:
Turkey, 12 lbs.
Stuffing
Potatoes
Sweet Potatoes – Fresh or Canned
Canned or Fresh Vegetables – Green Beans, Carrots, Corn
Cranberry Sauce
Cream of Mushroom Soup
French Fried Onions
Gravy
Butter
Chicken Broth
Cookie Mix or Brownie Mix
Pies, Assorted
Crescent Rolls/Rolls
Sparkling Wine
Hot Chocolate or Tea
