(October 23, 2024) — Plant bulbs now for Spring color! The Friends of Brainerd Memorial Library in Haddam are selling bulb kits ranging in price from $5.00 to $10.00. They include a deer-resistant mix as well as crocuses, alliums, grape hyacinths, and daffodils. There are some lovely irises left from Fall Fest which are $1.00 each.
These sales benefit the library by providing support for programs and events like Fall Fest, as well as materials and technology like a 3-D printer. Stop by soon, as supplies are limited and the library will be closed from October 28, 2024 until November 6, 2024 to prepare the lower level for renovation.
