Football 2019: HKHS Defeated by Stafford/Somers/East Windsor 26-15

#3 Dalton Modehn gets the interception after #7 Alex Riccitelli break up a Stafford reception

The Haddam Killingworth High School Varsity Football team was defeated by Stafford/Somers/East Windsor in Stafford Springs on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 with a final score of Stafford/Somers/East Windsor 26, H-K 15.  Mark McLaughlin scored three rushing touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass to Logan Briggs as the co-op of Stafford/Somers/East Windsor (6-2) came back from a halftime deficit to beat Haddam-Killingworth (1-7) in Stafford Springs on Friday night. Alex Riccittelli scored on a 60-yard run for the Cougars and Dalton Modehn had a three-yard TD run. Orion Inkel and Modehn each had an interception for HK.

S/S/EW – Mark McLaughlin 7 run (Lenards Bekeris kick)
HK – Alex Riccitelli 60 run (Andrew Wiese run)
Kicker #84 Kevin Cavrell cheers as holder #12 Andrew Wiese sprints around the edge and in to the endzone for a 2-point conversion on a fake extra point attempt

S/S/EW – McLaughlin 11 run (run failed)
S/S/EW – Logan Briggs 21 pass from McLaughlin (pass failed)

S/S/EW – McLaughlin 6 run (Bekeris kick)
