Football 2018: HKHS Defeats Valley/LOL for Principal’s Cup

The Haddam Killingworth High School varsity football team defeated Valley/Lyme-Old Lyme on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018 in Deep River with a final score of H-K 27, Valley/LOL 21. HK’s Dalton Modehn rushed for 117 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns and two interceptions, and HK’s Tobey Callender rushed for 76 yards on 12 carries with two touchdowns and two interceptions as the Cougars beat the Warriors to win the Principal’s Cup and qualify for the Class S playoffs. Jason O’Brien had 139 yards on 10 receptions with two touchdown catches for Valley.
