(September 29, 2023) — Fiona is a four-year-old pointer mix who is the sweetest little thing. She is good with other dogs. Cats? Not sure!
This chickee is house-trained, crate-trained, but needs a fenced-in yard. This poor thing came from a hoarding situation and has been in rescue for a long time. Fiona was afraid of everything and very unsocialized when she came to Furry Friends Rescue. She is still very shy and takes time to get to know people. There is no aggression of any sort – just fear.
With time, patience, and much love, she will turn into a beautiful flower and love you forever. It will be “me and my shadow” for sure.
Fiona would be great in a home with a furry brother or sister of similar size. She would gain confidence with another dog at home. She is working on her leash-walking and doing very well. She would do well in a quiet, adult home, or in a home with children where it is not a complete nut house.
As I said, with love, patience and time she will be your loyal and loving family member.
