(May 13, 2021) — Some key facts about this hunk of love….This guy is a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He weighs 102 pounds and currently on a diet. Saibo is a 7 year old senior that is neutered, and up to date with shots.
He is Mr. Suave. A big goof ball that he is loves to kiss, hug, is very affectionate and his past life he hung out at Woodstock with some of the big ticket names.
He should probably be the only pet in the house – no kitties, no dogs although has no prey drive and is non-reactive to other dogs in the shelter but wants to be “the man”. Older kids say 12+ is ok as he is a strong boy.
Saibo is a “10” on the potty training scale, crate trained (YES) but can get anxiety. He would much prefer to play and be with people – he is a people person and one can figure him out pretty quickly.
Cars – OMG jackpot jackpot! Sunday rides with the wind blowing in his ears….pure heaven. Saibo is good on a leash but gets excited to be out so he can lead. All you need to do is correct him and he will fall right back next to your side.
A fenced in yard is not necessary but he will be king of the house and the perfect watch dog. No one should take any detours through his yard.
