(Nov. 13, 2021) — Eve is a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier Mix and weighs in at 72 pounds. Some fun facts: She is spayed, and up to date with shots. I have to say that kitties and dogs ae not on her favorite list but will provide a bit more detail below. Eve does like kids AND she is house trained.
This beauty needs an active family, with preferably a fenced in yard. She is a bit chunky and needs to get her walkies. She’s been known to hop a fence too!
Ok so with Dogs: Eve prefers large males but she’s been super testy lately. So we are saying no dogs right now. Cats: Nope. Don’t ask. We don’t want to go there.
Kids: Miss Evie over here, reporting for duty! She will knock all children down with her fat rolls but don’t worry! After they hit the ground she will lick them from head to toe to make sure they’re fine. She hasn’t shown any toy or bone guarding either BUT reserve that stuff for crate/alone time just to be safe.
Crate/Potty Training: She’s immaculate. She’s been perfection since intake. Great in the car and loves to go for rides. Not a peep or accident from her AT ALL.
Leash: She’s strong but improving daily. She does know the “sit” command but she has ants in her pants and doesn’t “stay” put long enough. She’s an excited wiggle butt and so it’s hard to keep her still all the time. She just really wants positive praise and attention. She’s vocal when she wants your attention. She does a happy dance and spin, a little dog whine that shouts “look at me”!
Sounds like a win win situation to me!
